Licensed Massage Therapist

Licensed massage therapists who are professional, talented, self-motivated, and highly customer service-oriented are encouraged to apply to Sanctuary Spa. The best fit for our spa is a technician that strives to provide the best consultative experience to our guests, believes in continued education, and contributes to a team atmosphere. We are looking for someone with a high level of physical and mental energy along with a genuine enthusiasm for the benefits of massage.


Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, effective, amazing massage therapies and body treatments
  • Create and maintain professional relationships with spa guests
  • Adhere to training given during initial employee period and quality standards set forth by the spa
  • Maintain your treatment room in a presentable manner, ensuring sanitation standards are met and it is stocked
  • Complete knowledge of all spa services, packages, promotions and retail products offered in the spa
  • Make recommendations to clients about their skin care needs, including additional spa treatments and at-home protocols
  • Attend team meetings as scheduled by the spa leadership


Skills/Requirements

Required

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Texas massage therapy license
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings
  • Ability to make customize product recommendations to our guests based on their skin types, issues, and concerns
  • Creating a positive and exceptional customer experience for our guests is a must, so the ability for our technicians must be polite, helpful, and show a deep knowledge of body care.
  • Strong communication skills with guests, fellow co-workers, and management
  • Must be physically fit enough to work through a full day of services
  • At least 2 years practicing as a Licensed Massage Therapist


Plus/Preferred

  • Previous experience working in a non-franchise, high-end day spa preferred
  • Technicians with existing clientele a plus
  • Ability to perform hydrotherapy services, such as wraps, scrubs, and Vichy shower services a plus.

Licensed Esthetican

We are in search of a licensed esthetician who is passionate about skincare and providing personalized services to every guest. The best fit for our spa is a technician that loves natural beauty care products and strives to provide the best consultative experience to our guests, believes in continued education, and contributes to a team atmosphere. They are talented, professional, self-motivated, and highly customer service-oriented. Enthusiasm for skin is a must!


Responsibilities

  • Provide professional facial treatments (that include cleansing, exfoliation, massage, treatment, and masks) according to training given during initial employee period and according to quality standards set forth by the spa
  • Perform advanced skin care treatments, such as peels, microdermabrasion, microcurrent treatments, and LED light therapy
  • Perform face, scalp, and shoulder massages for therapeutic and relaxation purposes
  • Learn about all of our products
  • Make recommendations to clients about their skin care needs, including additional spa treatments and at-home protocols


Skills/Requirements

Required

  • State esthetician license
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings
  • Ability to make customize product recommendations to our guests based on their skin types, issues, and concerns
  • Previous experience working with all relevant facial treatment equipment, including facial steamers, microdermabrasion machines, microcurrent machines, and LED light therapy machines
  • Creating a positive and exceptional customer experience for our guests is a must, so the ability for our technicians must have the ability to be polite, helpful, and show a deep knowledge of skin care.
  • Strong communication skills with guests, fellow co-workers, and management
  • Must be physically fit enough to work through a full day of services

Guest Care Associate (Part-Time)

The heart of the team, the ideal Sanctuary Spa Guest Care Associate enjoys connecting people with spa services that enhances their life and well-being. The Guest Care Associate thrives on bringing the spa lifestyle personalized for every person that comes into or calls the spa. The Guest Care Associate is a vital ally for the technicians and therapists, ensuring they are all set up for success for their services and can deliver amazing treatments to all of our spa clientele. We are currently looking for part-time associates available mostly nights and weekends.


Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance to clients on the spa experience
  • Educate clients on the menu of services, making suggestions as to what services would be best for the client based on the needs they’ve communicated to you via phone
  • Exemplary customer service while answering phones is a must
  • Keep the reception area clean and products straightened at all times
  • Introduce new beauty products to clients and educate them on their uses and benefits
  • Educating new clientele on what our spa offers through spa tours
  • Keep clients updated on current promotions and discounts on services offered in the Spa
  • Processing payments for services and products purchased by clientele
  • Keep register of long and existing clients for them to enjoy benefits given to loyal customers
  • Give appointments to clients on specific days
  • Open and close the spa at the appropriate time
  • Ensure that the front desk is clean and organized for free movement
  • Assist in getting client feedback on level of services delivered in order to improve on service delivery
  • Inform staff members of appointments that have been canceled by clients, and also alert staff members of the arrival of clients who come without prior appointments
  • Assist in developing promotional events, which focus on increasing the clientele of the spa
  • Manage the visitor register to keep record of people who visit the spa on a daily basis
  • Receive customer complaints and feedback and direct them to appropriate offices for resolution


Minimum Qualifications

  • Great customer service
  • Exemplary phone etiquette
  • Possess a strong knowledge of computers, including a spa POS system, internet and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent multitasking skills to successfully handle multiple tasks at one time
  • Possess strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills to communicate with clientele, as well as your coworkers on a daily basis


Preferred Qualifications, but Not Required

  • Knowledge of beauty products and/or spa industry
