Licensed Esthetician

Karen was born and raised in San Jose, Costa Rica. She moved to the United States over 25 years ago. Karen was inspired into esthetics and skin care from an early age. After raising three sons and having a successful career in sales and marketing, Karen decided it was time to pursue her dream. She went back to school and graduated from The Institute of Cosmetology, Esthetics and Massage, in Houston.

Karen specializes in extractions and skin analysis. She is very thorough, taking inputs like home current home regimens, visual cues from skin and verbal consultation with guest into account. Karen works with her guests to build custom home-care recommendations, working with what guests already have at home, budget and how much time each guest wants to devote to their self-care.

Karen is fluent in Spanish and Hebrew. She loves to share what she is constantly learning and enjoys guiding her guests about their home-care regimes, skincare products and new treatments. She enjoys the diversity of cultures and nationalities in Houston.
